There a re lots of BBS's around by Telnet. Lots of these boards though
specialize in gaming. It was hard even in the BBS hayday to get people to
use the messaging. They were either interested in files or games.

There is still traffic and moderators are still around. Better than some
newsgroups I've seen where it's a disgrace to even show up.
