| subject: | Re: No more snooping, guys. Judges rule |
From: "Gary Britt"
Her injunction order is also a blatant violation of her authority and the
separation of powers between the judiciary and the executive. Imagine a
federal judge trying to order the commander in chief what battlefield
intelligence he can gather and what he can't at a time of war. A more
clear cut abuse of power and authority and a more clear violation of the
separation of powers in our constitution could not be produced. I don't
expect any federal judge to acknowledge this abuse of power and limit on
their authority. Their lifetime appointments make them think they have no
limits. I do expect the decision to be overturned rather quickly on
appeal, but I'm foolish enough to think this is the end of Judicial
meddling where they have no constitutional authority whatsoever.
