Yup. The sad thing is that it was rumored that the idea was that given our
long colonial history & actions/experience in the area, that we would
be able to give advice which Bush & co would heed.
Hey we knew the area, the Iraqis etc but we completely misunderstood Bush's
capacity to absorb advice.
