The going rate in Toronto at the moment is $50 Canadian per person per 
night - and don't have more that four members!  That's playing from 
about 9:30-10:00 till about 2:00AM.

I think the days of that sort of money for a bar band are long over.  
Fifteen years ago the band I was in was pulling $1000-1200 per night 
split four ways.
