It has been escalating for several years and unfortunately the hard liners
have been in the ascendancy. I wonder if there can be a peaceful solution
now. I really wonder if the Israeli government has lost their collective
minds. I can understand the need for a strong military and the need to be
seen as strong, however rubbing the Arabs nose in it doesn't strike me as a
good idea for long term peace and security.
