| subject: | Re: Involuntary recall - so much for reducing forces in Iraq? |
From: "Phil Payne" > That even those PR blurbs have disappeared in the glare of increasing > casualty rate (3000-plus Iraqi deaths/month and climbing) is ample > evidence of the failure of imagination that led the > simple-minded-yet-arrogant fools in Washington (and their simpering > lapdog in London) into the quagmire. I would have used stronger language about the lapdog. In fact, I regard that term almost as a compliment. I obviously have no idea of the state of Bliar's mind through all this - but it's become very obvious indeed during the Lebanon political fiasco that Bliar is starting to shake. I suspect he is positioning himself to publicly recognise Shrub as a madman and claim he was deceived bigtime. --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
