To me it depends on the context. In describing an actual event then
accuracy is important.
Hezbollah uses inaccurate missiles loaded with Ball bearings. Israel uses
Bombs with bomblets inside. One has little chance of killing anyone after
it has gone off, the other does have the chance of unexploded bomblets
killing people well after the initial explosion. Were I going into an area
where the munitions had been used I'd definitely want to know which one was
used .
