Greetings.
   I didn't intend to make it sound debunking or confrontational. I was just 
trying to point out that increased public awareness is not necessarily a good 
thing for UFOlogists.
   If the number of alien abduction reports increase following a movie, some 
people are going to say: Aha, they got the idea(/hallucination stimulus) from 
the movie!
   Perhaps this won't be true in all cases, but it may be demonstrably true 
in some cases, which will increase the distrust between the skeptics and the 
ET hypothesists. And the truth, whatever it is, will be unlikely to benefit.
   BTW, when that article appeared in the newspaper here, it was in the 
Entertainment section...  :)
