Yes, it's said to be another point of view and a completely different style,
but basically the same story with the same persons appearing. Therefore my
question whether The Regulators is so different that it becomes worth reading
again, 'cos I don't really enjoy reading a book twice after such a short
time.

I liked The Running Man pretty much, at least the book. The movie wasn't that
bad either although it had only the name and the game show in common with the
book. ;-(
