My XS-1100 Yamaha had 120 ponies and weighed in at about 540!!!

I could run faster than Harley's on my GS550CN Suzuki.
Totally wiped them off the line and by greatly exceeding redline
 whip them on top end.
Harley's can't exceed redline by much without going bye bye.
There's the Beuller Harley that is competative however..
I once joked to a friend I was going to add a blower to my
1100 which would be stupid as it was tough to
keep the front wheel on the road as it was. In fact I
was planning on returning it to stock pipes to
reduce noise, gain right hand cornering clearance and with
the required carborator rejetting down gain fuel economy.

Last time I was in a bike shop the motors had shrunk in size
by a third while hoursepower had gone up by half.
