  Just to add on here.  I don't think that core war programs are real
viruses.  I did a bit of research on this stuff in the past, and the core
wars are _pure memory_ things.  Ie, reboot, end of virus/worm/data destroying
programs or whatever.  Also, they're not real programs as such...it's a bit
of a different programming language and it's all very controlled...
Btw, the game of Core Wars actually ended when Robert Morris created a
program that the other guys in the groups just couldn't beat at all.  Just
an interesting note of trivia.
