That is handy, I haven't got anyway of controlling the input level to
either of my VCR's, I usually use a preamp with a level meter and control
for sorting this out, You can get a very high signal without distortion!

NICAM is used in the United Kingdom, It is a Digital audio signal qhich is
transmitted along with the Video signal, So TV sound here is CD quality!

According to the specifications in the manual...
My Sanyo VHR775 has got a S/N ratio of: 80dB
My Aiwa FX28000 has got a S/N ratio of: 65dB
Must admit that when you turn the volume up when you come to a blank bit
you have to turn it up high before you can here any noise!!, the minute the
audio comes back then there is no chance in hearing noise!!
