I hesitate to even go down this path, but...

Here's something that I've always wondered about - okay, you don't
like the show anymore, I can get that...but why is it never "eh, it's
not good anymore" instead of OMG CANCEL IT MAKE IT END DIE DIE DIE?
Why not just, you know, not watch it anymore?  If it were 10 years ago
I could understand wanting the show to end so it could "go out with
dignity"...but the chances of that have been gone for years.

So why does this type of person want so desperately to see the show
end altogether at this point?
