You mean no drunk driver died in a crash where no one else was involved?
Methinks your fears are self-induced because of your own illicit behaviors.
Why is it the statistics show alcohol related accidents to be less than
fifty percent of the total?
Why is it the vast percentage of all accidents in total resulting in
damages do not involve alcohol at all?
Is it because alcohol isn't the threat you think it is? All this while you
seem to be in favor of alcohol sales to generate tax revenue and profits.
In my opinion, accidents are accidents. I am sorry for the unfortunate
occurrrences of tragic deaths casued by motor vehicle accidents.
You have my sympathy for the loss of a loved one who was involved in an
automobile accident; but, I am unable to punish beyond prudent knowledge
and reason.
Alcohol companies who seel alcoholic beverages for profit bear a
responsibility since it is their product which is sold to the public that
is causing the accidents you seem to be against. Product liability statutes
makes my statement a very real legal tool for mitigation of these tragic
events.
Liberty is paramount to vengeance in these cases of unintentional inflicted harm.
