I never said it was still true but calls to the U.S. still cost 25 cents
per minute and calls to Canada are still 10 cents per minute. It's not a
happy state.

I'll do more detailed math in another post but my basic telephone service
costs me $47.14 euro ($CAN29.65) per month. After that, all local calls or
free including voice calls, ISP calls, or Fidonet data calls.
