I have an old aopen cdrw drive in an older computer I think 12x4x6x
that still works maybe 5 or 6 years old. The last drive I had go bad
was a dvd/cd rw drive that seemed to generate a lot of heat. The disk
was incredibly hot coming out of the drive. And of course it would
start out working and about 15-20 minutes be totally useless.
