Let's turn this around, Mike. Let's say I'm listening on my scanner to
you and your girlfriend. I guess (by your definition) I could take notes
and tell everyone all the dirty stuff as long as I don't use your names
and credit card numbers, right?
Where the hell is my freedom?
Oh? That's different? OK I see. 
Mike, the law is the law. Until it changes it's illegal to listen and
illegal to talk about what you hear on your scanner.
Personally I don't see the thrill. I don't care about listening to you and
"Poopsie-Face"  or whatever her name is.  I have my own love-life.  :-)
