Hi John:
You are in for a "BIG" treat.  The holidays down there are done in grand 
style and 
the decorations are absolutely breathtaking.  Every hotel, park, and grounds 
are 
aglow with lights and color.  You will be taken in with the holiday spririt.
As far as the Very Merry Mickey Christmas party is concerned...you have 
purchase 
tickets on certain days in December...the park closes early and re-opens 
again for 
ticket holders only and there are plays, bands, shows, cookies and goodies 
and all 
ends with the Christmas parade (same one that you see on TV on Christmas 
morn) and 
fireworks.  Very nice and lots of fun.  If you can....do it.  I think the 
dinner 
show is called the Jolly Holiday.
Exactly when will you be there?  I think that you are going before we are.  
Is it 
early December?  We will be there on the 12th through the 17th.
The Poly is very nice and one of our favorites.  Yes, the rooms are quite 
large 
and very comfortable.  Can't wait to see the Boardwalk though,  Everyone that 
has 
been there has nothing but high praise for it so I am getting quite excited.  
I, too, hope the weather will cooperate, but at that time of year it is hard 
to 
determine.  We have been there when it was 80 and have been there in the low 
60's 
and drizzle, so keep you fingers crossed.
