Hi Barry, I guess the questions you asked were a little off subject, but I 
guess if I can make someone a little wiser that is a good thing. Yes here to 
in Canada we celebrate Labour Day. As for the spelling you'll notice that 
Canada will stick to British spelling of many words, for example, colour. We 
do not however say British though, but rather the European system. As for 
Septembre, this is the French spelling of the word September. Which one do 
you believe we use up here??
