There is one ALDI store in my County and another in the next County.
As I've been reading this Topic I've thought ALDI placed their stores near
InterState Expressways, since the one I shop at is near the Loop that joins
the two Expressways that go through my area (South Central Indiana).
I-64 passes through my County and I-65 passes through the next County.
The store in the other County is near that Loop also.
When I've traveled, I've seen them located near X-Ways Exits in lots of
the places I've been through.
EXCEPT Huntington, West Virginia - Their store is near the end of a long
road that runs from the X-Way Exit into the Eastern part of town.
I will write a message in the Memories echo to Joe Mackey about ALDI after
I finish this message.
In my area, there are many ALDI stores across the Ohio River in Louisville,
Kentucky.
But only two in my area on this side of the River.
Neither of those are close to my home, but we go to ALDI regularly.
The one I shop at IS close to a WalMart store, the one in the other County
has a Meijer store near it.
I never made the connection of ALDI being close to the WalMart stores.
I'll try paying more attention the next time I go on a road trip.
... Have you checked your smoke detector batteries & Fire Ext, LATELY?!
