The people who defend us in this society, in terms of an occupation, are
people like the police, firefighters, and soldiers. These occupations are
overwhelmingly held by men.

Whether or not this will change is the subject of speculation. It may
change or it may not. Whether it's morally right or not is also something
open to a person's opinions. But as of today, it should be obvious to
everyone that the vast majority of people who are trusted to defend us are
men. The armies, police forces and firefighting teams of our society are
overwhelmingly male.
