You forgot to ask why am I on this echo:-) Yep stamps is my hobby and pseudo
business as well. You can't take a chancd on putting stamps in a rural mail
box so I have a po box in Ottawa. I am also into Photography, metal work,
wood work, gardening, carpentry, computers, and now it seems landscaping. I
own a piece of a decent sized swamp that i play with as well. I have been
building and dreaming models for as far back as I can picture. I have
several finished, some on the go and some still waiting to be done, typical
with the exception that I have never flown an RC successfully, I don't
really try that hard and don't mind. I am building a new shop and air field
right now but that coule end up as a potting shed and garden as easy as not.
I made the speed controls because I have a PTE and the thing doesn't seem to
want to fly. Its got all the bits correct except thet the weight is supposed
to be 48 oz nad the weight is 48 oz. That seemed a little close to me so I
wanted to cut down on the weight. this switch removed a servo and toggle as
well as a couple of inches of wire. I also wanted to cut my own boards and
looked at this as an opportunity to get that experience. The boards were
advertised for three bucks US, but I wanted to do my own. I still have not
tried that plane again but one day..
