subject: Dumpster diving for fun and profit

From: "Tony Ingenoso"

Its more a hobby than necessity.

Dumpsters are kinda like a great unknown - until you take a look you never
know what you'll find.

Electronics/computers are common... One day about 15 years ago I got a big
load of unused mahogany boards and made a bunch of furniture out of it.
One of the mahogany tables has a nice ceramic tile inlay top (the high
dollar tiles were dived too). One of my office desks was a
castaway, in fine
condition, and the center drawer keys were even taped inside. Drywall scraps
big enough to patch holes, grout, usable plywood and lumber pieces, etc all
kind of construction materiels can be scavenged.

For anyone selling stuff on eBay, the dumpster behind the dollar stores is
a treasure trove of nice clean boxes and packing. Why buy boxes and
packing when there's good stuff for free? Free is always the right
price
