Is there a way to make Dir() case sensitive?
ex. The filename is "C:\Path\To\File\FILE.txt"
and if you do Dir("C:\path\to\file\file.txt"), it still returns
"FILE.txt", which I guess I could just compare with the original
string because comparing the two strings WOULD BE a case sensitive
check.
But Dir() only returns the file name, and none of the directories, so
I would have do go through each sub-dir there and repeat the same
process, comparing what Dir returned with the string I'm checking.
I'm just wondering if there is a simpler way to this. There must be
some magic swith that I forgot to flip..
Thanks in advance..
