QUESTION:
If you were going to write a VB app that would batch download a sieries of 
files which control would you use?

SITUATION:
I have wrote an VB internet application using the Internet Transfer control 
(Inet). (See screenshot below)
Everything works fine but working with the Inet control is a real pain.
Right now my app only downloads FTP files.
I want the app to be able to download files that are http links and FTP 
links.
I can do that but it is a pain to do with the Inet control.
The real problem with the Inet control is that you just can't pass it a URL.
You have to tell it what the server name is and what is the file path.
This means that for each URL I have to program a function that splits the 
URL into 2 parts.

Let me know if you have any suggestions.
