Well, if I understand you, of course it is BS, but the drug laws are all
BS anyway, and my point, which I guess was not too clear, was that if we
are ever gonna get dope decriminalized, we will either havta quit putting
lawyers in legislative office,... or decriminalize it in such a way that
the lawyers will still make money out of it... which the transfer to the
civil court does.
I have been online off and on since 83' and this issue has been up the
whole time with very little result until the medical use laws. If we're
gonna get any more, we will havta be a little more realistic about the
dependance of the legal community on drug money.
The civil court can handle *all* drugs in the same way... prove damange
to the jury, which would indeed be difficult with dope, but easy with a
white powder like crack or crank. It would also be easy to prove the
personal responsibility of adults, but easy to prosecute those who deal
to minors
