The advantage would be new technology such as rich text / html messaging.
The ability
to add an image or hyperlink. Receive notifications via email and post a
reply using
email. Smartphone and tablet compatible.

Mr. Cassell requested a feed cut for Mr. Richardson. Then Richardson sent
me an email
telling me pretty much to stick the bbs up my ass!

Each web bbs conference can have it's elisted moderator to set rules and
sanction
users if necessary.
