I cannot duplicate your problem using the supplied lReplace() =
statements. Have you tried running your macro under the macro debugger =
to see when the lines in question get changed?

Subject: Possible Bug in TSE2.5e, or maybe my error
I'm either doing something wrong, or I've come across a bug in TSE 2.5e.
Objective: Assure that in text
"xxx.) Xxxx" & "xxx. (Xxxx"
are separated by two spaces, i.e., the above should become:
"xxx.) Xxxx" & "xxx. (Xxxx"
BUT
"xxx.) xxxx" & "xxx. (xxxx"
should NOT be changed.
Lines used in my 2_Space macro:
lReplace('\.) {[A-Z]}','\.) \1','gnx')
lReplace('\. ({[A-Z]}','\. (\1','gnx')
That works fine for: "xxx.) xxxx"
But for: "xxx. (xxxx" I get "xxx. (xxxx"
It seems that for "(x" the term "{[A-Z]}" is case-independent. Why is =
that? =20
Is it my programming error, or is it a Bug?
Eric
