Hello Wayne -

Fair enough.

Usually that would be true, yes.

I am inclined to agree with all that he said. I read a website
that offers to help 'tune' XP and it says standard install XP
comes up with 89 tasks running while it's not doing anything
but sitting there! My brother's W98SE, admittedly not well
configured, comes up with 34 tasks while sitting doing nothing
and I wouldn't tolerate even 34 myself.

I've not used W2K but the more I hear of it and the more
servers switch from other OS to W2K the more I think it's
probably the 'winner' out there if W98SE isn't enough. For me I
suspect W98SE is enough. :-)
