Although you didn't specify which driver version you are using, I would
guess it is Intellipoint Version 5. If so, that driver is flawed and
doesn't work correctly. Microsoft offers a "fix" for the mouse wheel
scrolling problem in VB6's IDE at this web page

but some consider this a half-hearted solution which still leaves
problems (you still won't be able to scroll a FlexGrid control). Other
