subject: Visual Basic app using Wi

Hi all,

I've looked all over the net for answers to this (reference web
sites, web forums, this-and-other-newsgroups) without luck, so...

Just wondering if anyone here can point me towards code examples to
write a Visual Basic app for WiFi Ad Hoc Mode. I've written apps that
successfully use WiFi Infrastructure Mode (i.e. "client
server
client" apps), but not ad hoc nor any kind of p2p actually. What are
the differences between VB code for Infrastructure and Ad Hoc? I'm
guessing that the major difference involves getting the Ad Hoc
machines to recognize one-another from within the VB app.

Is there some way to get a 'list of nearby machines in ad hoc mode' or
is there a range of ip addresses to set or check?

Newbie in this regard. Any help? Thanks, in advance.
