TPTB simply had Paris say something like "Our speed...it's...impossible!"
Not that surprising given the flack they got over "Thresholds," if you
ask me.
But I suppose you could extrapolate the speed from the elapsed on-screen
time between Kes' push and their coming to a halt, and the distance...if
you were inclined to do such things (I'm not). }}:->
