Hi Paul, Sorry I have been so long in responding to your last message and

stock conversion C source which you kindly wrote for me. In the interim I

have been trying to compile it with various shareware compilers with no

success. A local Sysop compiled it for me yesterday with Borlands C++ I

think. I have run the prog with some sample data but it doesn't do anything?

i.e. the prog loads and sits there, pressing any key or typing in a string

gets a response of (null). Ctrl C exits the prog.

I have tried to FREQ from your board with frustrating results! Devil.slt

stops on "hello" I think and will then drop carrier unless I hit enter, it

will then carry on but fails to u/l the .REQ file. I have also tried the

Complex.slt as late as this a.m. (03/11/95) <<--You will approve of this

format!, Complex seems to get further but bails out after successfully

sending the .REQ file, it waits a little while after u/l then: REQ file for

3:711/934 uploaded without error. It is safe to delete it. REQ file for

3:711/934 exists. Delete it [Y/n]. After a short time regardless of my

reponse I lose the carrier.

Obviously it would be best to FREQ from you if I can get it working. Thanks
