As I recall, federal law prohibits listening to cellular phone frequencies. 
State and local laws may or may not prohibit listening to cordless and other 
phone frequencies, depending on your state or location.  So unless the Feds 
have passed a new law without telling me...

So, it's legal to divulge communicatons that were broadcast to more than one
