What compilers did you use? You should get a hold of "EMX 0.9a"
for your C compiler needs. It is very good (and free).

You have to put your input data into a file, e.g. in.txt, and then
run it like this:
aus2met out.txt
GA> I have tried to FREQ from your board with frustrating results! Devil.slt

You need to give me a date and a time for me to be able to check
this.

Well that a.m. there were a couple of calls from 666:666/666,
but the file that was being uploaded was called "ul02c703.req"
instead of the correct "02c703a6.req". That was at 10:44.
There was an earlier one at 10:25 which sent a file called
"upload02.req". Are you using complex.slt from devil261?
Are you running under Telix for DOS? I use Telix315, available
for download from the same place as DEVIL261.

If you see a file get uploaded called "ul02c703.req" or similar,
you know that something has gone wrong, because that's not the
correct filename.
GA> Obviously it would be best to FREQ from you if I can get it working. Thanks
I think your Telix setup might be exceeding some bounds of the
program, perhaps your upload directory is a path greater than
50 characters or something like that. Also, try using "simple.slt"
instead of "devil.slt" and see if you have better luck there, as
there's a lot less code involved in that.
Remember to give me a date + time for each of your experiments so
that I can check my log.
It also might be helpful if you installed Telix315 from scratch into
a separate directory to your main telix, get rid of the telix
environment variable. That way you get a simple setup, which
hopefully one of the 3 scripts can cope with. I think it's worth
the effort to set up, that way whenever you see someone say "FREQ
xyz from abc - I accept FREQs from anyone" you at least have the
technology to get it. BFN. Paul.
