Gawd, you have no idea how much all we employees hate code orange.  It's
such a farce anyway,  But when they code orange all our cars are wiped upon
entrance to NIH (National Institsutes of HEalth) for bomb residue.
  When it's yellow employees are not wiped.  It's such a an insult to
us.  WHen it's orange we're potential terrorists, when it's yellow we're
not potential terrorists.

During code orange it takes four times as long to get into work, it ties up
traffic on the main routes and even the police working the gates say these
efforts are all for show...they don't really protect anyone.  One guard
said the powers that be literally throw a dart in a dart board to come up
with a percentage of how many cars they'll wipe down.

I don't even believe the US govt. anymore (not that I did that much
anyway).  THey've already admitted that they erred in cancelling the french
flights (one of the suspecious names belonged for 5 year old child).  Quite
frankly, I feel more threatened by their efforts than protected.  The govt.
seems to be totally clueless (which really comes as no great surprise.)
