Here's what I did that fixed it:

I completely removed python. I am on command line too, btw.

I reinstalled python2.7 plus the lib at the bottom. 

This resolved my issue. 

If you get the output from the ldconfig and the correct lib, you should be
good. It's looking for that library.

I also created a sym link to python2.7 to python for /use/bin
