subject: capturing mouseclick

I am working with a third party control that functions as a text editor
toolbar (it provides buttons for Bold, Italic, dropdowns for fonts etc..).
The problem is we have help files that pop up when the user clicks on
anything when the cursor is in help mode (arrow with a ? mark) but this
third party control does not capture mouseclicks over the comboboxes - only
the buttons.
Is there any way to force a capture of a mouseclick? I know setting
keypreview for the form is often helpful in capturing key input - is there a
similar solution for mouseclick?

Thanks for any help!
