Sounds to me like you have the right idea.  Using a database versus flat
files will allow for future enhancements.  Keeping it simple will allow you
to deliver a product quickly so you can get feedback on how the end-user
really wants it to work.

Seems to me that every time I discuss a program's concept with someone they
really can't express what they want exactly.  After delivering a demo
(usually a working version of everything they asked for) they come back with
more exacting specifications.  I guess that's the true value of a RAD tool
like VB.
