I have only one word for Mr. Gates:

     Actually, I kinda know who he must have felt:  I
have spend the better part of two weeks completely
revamping my MAILIST programs and the data structure.
Last night I did the final debugging.  All tests ran
just fine.
     Today I started entering new "for real" data - and
everything blew up.  Every single one of those programs
had at least one bug in it - some more.  I couldn't
believe that all that crap didn't show up when I was
entering fake data.  No, it has to wait until I'm doing
the real thing.
     I'm just glad I wasn't on TV and didn't have 500
people laughing at ME!
