According to the engineers, your figures are a tad high, but a reasonable 
answer. I think it will be a couple of wind turbines, as the area will 
support them most of the year, (if not blow them away... LOL...). These will 
be supplimented with PV panels and a diesel generator, (or propane.)
 
It probably can be done for under 60K, still a fortune less than poles and 
wire, with the additional monthly cost on top of that. The maintance should 
not equal the cost of purchased power, again according to recent figures from 
the engineers who have been working on this.
 
BTW, the KWHs mentioned are for the whole thing here, house, shop, store and 
so on; most of which has allready been moved. Somehow that did not seem 
important enough to mention. When I call a supplier and tell them I need ten 
cases of some item, I am not used to being asked why I thought I needed it, 
they just send the merchandise. Simple...
