Remove the power tubes.... if it doesn't blow, you have an area to start
looking at.
Check for blown up stuff (WITH POWER OFF AND CAPS DRAINED) around the
output t00bs. Check for carbon on sockets, which will indicate arc-ing.
File or replace sockets.
One reason o/p tubes glow is a bias problem. Have this checked.
Check filter caps, as part of normal maintenance. Look for bubbling or
leaking, which indicates they're BAD. If you've had it for 10 years and
haven't changed them, it's time anyway.
You should have found the problem. Odds are both tubes won't go at the
same time, so I'd guess a bias fault. Of course I could be wrong.
Once.
If all else fails, take it to someone with a clue.
