 BL> 30 May 1997 Ottawa canada
BL> Maybe it is my ability to speak company-ese such as USOCS and
BL> stuff, but Bell Canada, my wire telco and Bell Mobiity Cellular
 BL> know they are mortal.
BL> I haven't had to pull strings much, but when I have had to, they
 BL> worked.
BTW: It's really "old stuff" but a book that I once found VERY interesting
was: The Phone Book....subtitle: What The Phone Company Would Rather
                                         NOT Know!
Nowadays, the Central Office Reps and the LD Companies are much easier
to deal with....than 10 years ago.
...with the advent of competition....I think the Bell companies are
going farther to keep their customers, especially with the prospect
    of any competition.
.........I'm a former PBX/Key systen tech....never worked for Ma Bell.
... MODEM: Fun, Friends and a Happy Phone-Company.
