Well, the T2000 is a nice board, but presently limited to 640x480
and the editing software is limited to the EMC and Adobe Premiere.
I believe they will add NTSC resolution capability in the future.
I can't speak about the Matrox but the PAR (DR-2100) is really
used for rendering animation from programs like 3D Studio for
real-time playback. If you add the TBC IV from DPS and in:Sync's
Razor Pro you should be able to get some great video but, like
premiere, each frame will have to be rendered.
Although DVI technology is somewhat dated, you *can* get good
industrial quality out of a system like D/Vision Pro or Cineworks.
For the price I don't know any other true non-linear system that
can touch them.
