Just what "form of health insurance" do most Americans have? Charity at
emergency rooms? Last January Time ran a piece about HMOs and how corporate
bean counters are now dictating to MDs just how MDs can treat their
patients and what form of health care a patient can receive. You read about
how HOMs are being sued for NOT providing treatment to cancer and other
terminally ill patients. True health care costs are being driven downward,
but at what cost to non-affluent patient? But I suppose all this pleases
you.
... When a man is down everyone runs over him.
