Yes. Simply use the getenv()-function to check wether your app is running
under wind*ws. ex,; if empty(getenv('windir'))
? "I'm not running under wind*ws !"
? "All will work (hopefully)."
else
? "I'm running under wind*ws !"
? "Program will make mistakes !"
