I just got off the phone with Rodney Boyce. I suggest anyone with an
interest in Chrono's for air guns to check http://www.combro.co.uk.
Rodney has one of these to test and it works perfectly with 2 small
problems. It does not like PCP guns with aflood of oil on the pellets and
too much sunlight shining in the front of it will give a non-reading. Being
able to put one of these approx. 2 oz. devices right on the front of your
airgun is a tremendous advantage. You can even plug it into the serial port
on the computer and with the windows compatable software keep a string of
data. At a cost of less than 30pounds ,it has to be the neatest gadget
around. The only thing Rodney was unsure of was who is importing them. He
said someone in Cal. is. The real negative at the moment is that it's so
new that they are hard to get. The serial interface is sold for less than 9
pounds and they even give you a schmeatic on their web page so you can make
it yourself. They also provide the software you can down load on that same
web page.
Do I sound excited? You bet.
