Hi Jonathan,
The VMM inside a VDM is not the reason I suggested 32MB. I suggested
this value because all DOS/4GW programs that will run under real mode
DOS [switched to DPMI] will also run in a VDM provided DPMI_DOS_API is
ENABLED and DPMI_MEMORY_LIMIT is 32 or more -- unless they do something
else that causes them to crash.
John's genealogy program appears to be doing the latter, i.e.
something else that is causing it to crash.
