You may remember a few weeks back I asked about the Cessna Agwagon
and it's endurance with regard to the incident over the pacific.
Well good news, I bought a book the other day (Emergency by Stanley Stewart)
and it had 20 pages on the incident. The aircraft was a Cessna 188 and
his planned endurance was 22hours! but after cruising at econ he
finally got 23 hours out of it!
The TV was close to the mark but the aircraft landed at Norfolk instead
of Auckland.
