Well!!!! I did admit I was a high school drop out. If I could have passed 
English I would have been able to graduate and then been railroaded by my
parents into Economics at University. Then I would really been a burden on 
society, getting an extravigant salary from then government and contributing
nothing to anyone, instead I was a mechanic until I ruined my back. I then 
worked as a mainframe computer operator for several years.

Now I spend my time, between crippling panic attacks, running this board and
providing user support on behalf of two User Groups I belong to.

I have "nickel'n'dimed" my system up from an XT to a 486dx2/66
with 12 mb RAM
850 and 1600 mb hds, 28k8 & 14k4 modems on the generosity of family, friends 
and gifts from people I have helped. I even pick up a little cash on occaision,
but never enough to have it affect my dole or later my pension.

At one stage I did manage to get two months of contract work, only to lose it
and get blacklisted when hit hard by Glandular fever at the end of the first 
month. I even tried to set up doing PC support as a business but failing health
put an end to that as I became too undependable and slow.

So all the David Drummonds and Rod Speeds can think what they want, my 
conscience is clear.
